Above average temperatures with gentle
south-southwest winds. There are chances of rain/t-storms along the western
OK-KS border, then moving southwards through the end of week. Smoke from
wildland fires will continue to elevate airborne particle pollution levels
through the end of the week. Air quality will be diminished in most regions,
with PM2.5 being the pollutant of concern in most places. Urban areas and
along/east of I-35 are likely to experience higher air pollution levels; AQI
scores will remain in the Moderate range. The passage of a cold front across
the state, through Friday, should bring some relief to breathers by mixing
away a good amount of any lingering pollutants from the surface. |
