| Stiff southerly breezes will continue
throughout the forecast period as a low-pressure system stays on the Canadian
prairies. Mostly cloudy skies limit
ozone production, and scattered showers will wash pollution effectively from
the air through the weekend. After
Monday, an upper-level ridge will support higher temperatures, mostly sunny
skies, and only isolated rain showers.
This combination favors an increase in ozone, but the southerly winds
will bring plenty of humidity and perhaps a small amount of Saharan dust
toward the end of next week. Scattered
showers, however, may redevelop late next week. |
